You’re all too sweet. I’m gonna go to bed with a smile on my face now.

It’s past midnight here which means it’s May 10th and my birthday. I can’t believe I’m turning 24!

I just have to get this out.

It is NOT okay for a boss to be yelling and using profanities at an employee who either made an honest mistake or who’s actually not to blame because there was a fault in the machine she operated. My boss apparently did no get that memo.

Reminds me of the time when I called in sick and she yelled at me for that too.

So tomorrow I have to go to a local high school during their lunch break to hopefully recruit some people for a focus group interview. And if that goes well I have to conduct said focus group later that day.

I’m not nervous. I’m not nervous at all.

I’m currently at 4 and a half pages in an assignment that has to be turned in in about 36 hours. The upper limit is 10 pages. I’m aiming for 6 pages and seriously hoping just to pass.

I’ve been so busy lately. I’m starting to regret that I agreed to work 22 hours a week when I have my undergraduate project to think about as well. And now I have a 3-day assignment on my hands too.

I just want to be done with this whole university thing tbh. I’m tired of analyzing, and discussing theories and research methods. I’m a firm believer in learning-by-doing and I would much rather be out in the real world putting my knowledge to use.

Today started out not so great. Not exactly bad, but not amazing either.

Then my flatmate (gosh, that’s a weird word… I usually call her my roomie, but we don’t share a room, so I guess flatmate is more appropriate) and I went for a looong walk. Despite having lived here for almost 3 years now I haven’t really explored my own area of the city that much and it turned out to be a lovely walk. And for the first time this year I didn’t have to wear a jacket.

We ended up down at the harbour where we had some frozen yoghurt and enjoyed the view over the water and the city.

And tonight we decided that we’ll be going to Barcelona this summer.

Drawing skulls and grids like it’s nobody’s business.

I’m already up again which really says something about how late I was up last “night”.

Ah well. I had fun.
